Muay Thai, as with all martial arts, takes many years to master, but a basic understanding of the technique is easily grasped and the style is very practical as an effective form of self-defence. Training in Muay Thai is good fun and is excellent for an alternative means of fat burning, strength, cardio vascular & endurance training. 

People take up Muay Thai for many reasons, whether to learn an effective self defence technique or improve their overall fitness and stamina - you could burn over 1000 calories in a typical training session!

Muay Thai is a very effective, offensive fighting technique. It is characterised as the Art of Eight Limbs (two shins, knees, elbows and fists), together with its unique clinchwork (a form of stand-up grappling).
